Top Photography Apps on Android in Nigeria: Q1 2025 Performance

In the first quarter of 2025, the top five photography apps on the Android platform in Nigeria have shown varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's an overview based on Sensor Tower data.

Photo Lab Picture Editor & Art from PHOTO LAB DMCC saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, which peaked at approximately $855 in mid-March before settling at $768 by the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads showed a downward trend, starting from 34.5K and dropping to 20.1K. Despite this, the app maintained a strong presence with active users, who increased from 293.9K to 370.9K over the same period.

X PhotoKit experienced a surge in weekly downloads, climbing from 6.6K to an impressive 50.3K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar pattern, rising from 27.7K to 92.1K. However, the revenue remained minimal, with negligible changes throughout the quarter.

Video Editor & Maker - InShot by InShot Video Editor showed steady revenue growth, peaking at approximately $1K in late March. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable increase to 23.5K in late March, while active users showed resilience, ending the quarter at 412.9K.
